Trovidur® NL (PVC-U) pressed sheets, bright pressed

Trovidur® NL is a PVC-U with maximum chemical resistance that is used in chemical tank construction and liner construction in particular. Approval under food law is given. Due to the manufacturing process, pressed sheets are virtually stress-free and the physical properties are the same in both sheet directions.

AKU®-DUR PVC-U pressed sheets, bright pressed

This is our lower-priced own brand. Like Trovidur NL, the panels have very good electrical properties.
insulating properties and high chemical resistance. The plates do not have food approval
and are particularly suitable for apparatus, container, machine and plant construction. Production-related

Polyvinyl chloride unplasticized (PVC-U) is a form of polyvinyl chloride that is produced without the addition of plasticizers or other plasticizing substances.

Properties of PVC-U:

Hardness and rigidity:
PVC-U is characterized by its high hardness and rigidity. These properties make it particularly suitable for applications where structural integrity and strength are required.

  • Chemical resistance:
PVC-U is largely resistant to many chemicals, which makes it suitable for use in various industrial environments. It is particularly resistant to acids, alkalis and other aggressive substances.

  • Temperature resistance:
PVC-U retains its mechanical properties even at higher temperatures, making it suitable for applications in various temperature ranges.

  • Electrical insulation:
PVC-U shows good electrical insulation properties, making it suitable for applications in the electrical industry, especially for cable insulation.

  • Flame resistance

PVC-U is intrinsically flame retardant and can be classified in various fire classes, making it suitable for certain fire protection applications.

  • Workability:
PVC-U can be formed using various processing methods such as extrusion, injection molding and calendering. This enables the manufacture of a variety of products for different applications.

  • Applications:
PVC-U is often used in the construction industry for pipes, window profiles, doors and other building elements. It is also used in the chemical industry, water supply, electrical industry and other technical applications.

The exact properties of PVC-U may vary depending on the manufacturer and formulation.
It is therefore advisable to refer to the specific technical data sheets and recommendations in order to select the right PVC-U product for a particular application.
