or as a set for Ø75, 90 and 110 mm.

Depending on the device type, socket welding devices, i.e. welding mirrors with exchangeable mandrels and bushes, are available for socket welding pipes with fittings made of PE, PP, PB and PVDF.

All mandrels and bushes are Teflon-coated.

The temperature is controlled electronically.

The typical user of these devices is the water and heating installer.

The appliances described below for 230V 50/60Hz are supplied ready to plug in as standard.

For overseas, we can also supply a series in the 110V 50/60Hz version on request.

They form an efficient connection technology for plastic pipes.

Socket welders, also known as electrofusion unitsor heated tool welders, play a crucial role in the joining technology of plastic pipes.

These powerful tools enable pipelines to be connected permanently and securely by welding sockets or fittings.

Features and advantages of socket fusion units:

Properties of socket fusion units:

  • Heating element technology:
Socket welding machines use advanced heating elements that are specially adapted to the requirements of plastic pipes. These elements enable uniform heating of the sleeve ends.

  • Temperature and time settings:
Most socket welders offer precise settings for temperature and welding time to ensure an optimum welded joint for different types of plastic pipe.

  • Portability and handling:
Modern socket welders are often compact and portable, which makes them easier to handle and use in different locations.

  • Robust construction:
High-quality materials and robust construction ensure that socket welders can withstand the demanding conditions on construction sites.

Advantages of socket fusion units:

  • Durable connections:
Socket welders enable the creation of permanent welded joints between plastic pipes that are strong, reliable and resistant to leaks.

  • Time and cost savings:
Thanks to the fast and efficient welding technology, socket welders can reduce time and costs when installing pipelines.

  • Versatility:
Socket welders are versatile and can be used for various plastic pipe materials and diameters.

  • Quality control:
Thanks to precise settings and monitoring functions, socket welders enable high quality control of the welded joint.

Applications of socket fusion units:

  • Water supply:
Socket welders are often used in water supply systems to ensure that connections are watertight and hygienic.

  • Sewage pipes:
Socket welders are used in wastewater disposal to create leak-free connections in sewer systems.

  • Industrial applications:
Socket welders are used in industrial applications where plastic pipes are required for the transportation of chemical substances or other liquids.

  • Construction projects:
On construction sites, socket welders are often used to ensure a reliable connection of pipelines in buildings or infrastructure projects.

The precise and reliable jointing technology of socket welders plays a crucial role in various industries, and their advanced features help to create high-quality piping systems.
