Bending tester and testing technology for plastics processors in accordance with DVS guidelines

Quality control is an indispensable part of modern production processes.

To check the quality of thermoplastic welds, the German Welding Society recommends and the corresponding EN guideline prescribes the technological bending angle test.

The 01.30 BP bending tester was developed for this purpose.

The 01.30 BP bending tester has been designed strictly in accordance with the requirements of the DVS guideline.

It enables the testing of various welded test specimens with the following specifications:

• PE-HD: thickness from 3 to 30 mm
• PP-H: thickness from 3 to 25 mm
• PVDF: thickness from 3 to 25 mm
• PVC-U: thickness from 3 to 15 mm

The 01.30 BP enables the weld seam quality to be determined by measuring the displacement and/or the bending angle.
