AKU®-LEN 400 PE100 SOLID RODS or RODS in PE 100 with diameters up to 1600 mm

Due to its good chemical resistance, polyethylene is resistant to the attack of most acids, alkalis, many organic solvents, and hot water.
It is a good electrical insulator and easily weldable.
The continuous use temperature ranges from -50 °C to approx. +90 °C.

Polyethylene (PE 100) has become established in plant engineering and process technology due to its chemical resistance, excellent weldability, and mechanical strength even under continuous pressure loads.

As a semi-finished product for machining, PE 100 places high demands on production quality: Inhomogeneities in wall thickness or internal stresses from the extrusion process are notable risks for the semi-finished product or final product.

Outer diameter up to 1,600 mm.

From 210 mm onwards, in pipe grade in accordance with DIN EN ISO 15494.

Delivery length up to OD 500 mm: 2,000 mm, above: 1,000 mm.

Custom cuts in other lengths available on request.

Solid rods are used for milling or turning – for example, for discs, bushings, turned parts, or as special custom geometries without suitable standard dimensions.
