PBT belongs to the group of partially crystalline thermoplastic saturated polyesters based on polybutylene terephthalate and are used as materials for high-quality and heavy-duty parts in many industrial sectors.
PBT is characterized by high stiffness and strength, very good dimensional stability in heat, low water absorption and good resistance to many chemicals.
In addition, PBT exhibits excellent weather resistance and outstanding heat aging behavior.
